At "Making Sports Possible," we are committed to ensuring every child in Polk County, Texas, has the opportunity to participate in local sports leagues. If you're seeking assistance for your child's sports registration fees, please follow the steps outlined below.
Application Commitments
Before applying, please read and understand the commitments you are certifying.
Attendance Commitment:

I certify that I will make every reasonable effort to have my athlete attend all games and practices.

I will communicate with the coach in a timely manner if my athlete cannot make a game or practice to avoid putting the team in a forfeit situation.

I understand that my athlete may not quit the team for any unjust reason. If they are removed from the team due to behavior problems or voluntarily leave, I acknowledge that services may not be granted to me in the future.
Behavioral Commitment:

I certify that I will ensure my child listens to their teachers and coaches, maintains a positive attitude, and always does their best.

My child will be respectful to teammates and team supporters, follow the rules set by the teachers and coaches, and strive for excellence in every situation.

My child will refrain from using foul language, fighting, or bullying classmates or teammates. I understand that if my child is removed from a team due to behavior problems, this organization reserves the right to deny its services.
Eligibility Requirements:
To be eligible for assistance, you must provide one of the following proofs of financial need:

Copy of Award Letter showing active SNAP, Medicaid, or TANF benefits.

Proof of active WIC benefits.

Our team will review your application and notify you of the outcome. Approval is based on the provided eligibility proofs and availability of funds.

Once approved, apply for registration through the local sports league within the appropriate timeframe.

Making Sports Possible will cover the registration fee for one sport, per child, per calendar year.
